This is an excellent lens to use on an everyday shoot.This is the lens I have attached to my camera about 98% of the time.It has good lighting DOF large capacity, rugged and ideal for portraits. I would be careful about using the 150-200mm range without a tripod.The object tends to move in your hand at this range and the image comes out blurry. If you absolutely cannot travel with a tripod, I would go the extra $200 and purchase the image stable lens in this rang that Sigma also offers.If you do not want to spend that much more for the lens, use a tripod to the remote, or try to hold the lens while supporting your arm on something stable. Otherwise, it's an excellent all encompassing lens..

Does what you ask reasonably well. I got this product because it met four requirements.Uses the same batteries in my two cameras. Has genuine optical stabilization (I need this for technical reasons), has a reasonably long zoom range with decent optics, and its digital. Not many complaints yet. Like most of the new gadgets, it takes a while to learn to use all the features.Build quality is good. Main complaint is that the batterlife is kinda short with the batteries that I swap out from my still cameras. The function is not so exciting night. If you want excellent low light capabilities, look elsewhere..

It's not super intense and complicated, which is great for me, but the picture quality is amazing! I will say however the portability is a bit obnoxious.The lens is rather large and I can barely fit it and my other lense as well as my camera body and lens hood into my camera bag.However, besides be large enough, the lens is large and highly recommend it..

I received these by accident, I thought I was ordering lightscribe Verbatims but after checking my original order I see that I must have clicked on the wrong item and received these. I won't send them back as Verbatim, in my opinion, makes the best blank discs.I do not remember ever making a coaster "using Verbatim also even if I got them from my mistake, I know I will continue to use all. You can't go wrong with Verbatim.Maybe Ill try the LightScribe version to later but the more I hear about LightScribe less excited I am to be on the actual Getting Any was therefore a happy coincidence..

Bought this camera after reading reveiws and may I say i am very glad I did.This is my 2nd digital, my first had a floppy for memory so you know how old it is right? I did buy a 8 GB card for it and it is plenty for what I do.I bought my new one about $ 100.00 and I am puzzeled I see the price go up? The battery is charged enough for me. I charge it and throw it in my briefcase and it is always ready to go.There are many adjustments and settings to play with and I like that part. The zoom setting gets you close, after taking the shot zoom the photo and it gets you right into the deepest details.I would give this 10 stars if I could, but are only allowed 5.

If you plan to get any long telephoto lens, this backpack isn't for you.
