I can also use it as an alarm clock in my bedroom.This dock is perfectly built and plug the iPod fits perfectly into the product. I read that you shouldn't use the plugs that have the push buttons on the side, and to only use the smaller ones that just pull out.Best part about it ... I don't have to take my case off to plug it in! Overall great product, no complaints..
