After several years of satisfied printing with my Canon i850, I got the dreaded seven orange blinks that indicate the printhead has failed. The Canon manual for the i850 says the life of the printhead is five years.Since my machine was older than that, I ordered the print head QY6-0064, jumped into my machine, and it began printing immediately with excellent results. The new printhead is an exact replacement that is simple to install and is cheaper than a new printer, especially if you still have unused ink cartridges left..
